André Rostant is a Londoner. Born in 1963 in Lambeth, now living in Stratford.
He writes poetry, composes and performs music, and, of course, has written The Muffin Man.
He is a Big Issue Vendor in central London - his pitches are Waitrose/Pret on High Holborn (early mornings) and Carnaby Street (lunchtimes and weekends).
André is of Irish, West-Indian heritage, and brings both these influences into his work.
